Accessibility

Built to be usable by everyone.

AdellaOutreach is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We're continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Our commitment

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the international standard for digital accessibility. We design and develop with accessibility in mind from the start, not as an afterthought.

What we’ve done

  • Semantic HTML structure throughout, with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions
  • Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components)
  • Keyboard navigation support with visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page
  • Form fields with programmatically-associated labels
  • Alt text on informative images; decorative images marked appropriately
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting — animations are disabled for users who prefer reduced motion
  • Reflow at 320px viewport width without horizontal scrolling
  • Responsive design supporting 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality
  • HTML lang attribute set so screen readers use correct pronunciation

Known limitations

We’re honest about what’s still being improved:

  • Some data visualization SVGs include detailed information that may be difficult to perceive with a screen reader. We’re working on text-equivalent summaries for each.
  • Third-party embedded content (e.g., scheduling widgets when integrated) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control.
  • We have not yet completed a full audit with users of assistive technologies. This is on our roadmap.

How to report concerns

If you encounter any accessibility barrier on this site, please tell us:

Please describe the page, the specific barrier, and the assistive technology (if any) you were using. We respond to accessibility concerns within 2 business days and aim to remediate confirmed issues within 30 days.

Standards we follow

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA (target standard)
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
  • EN 301 549 (European accessibility standard) where relevant

Audit and review

This site was most recently audited for accessibility on June 19, 2026, using automated testing (axe-core) and manual review. We re-audit at least quarterly and after significant content or design changes.

Accessibility is a process, not a destination. We commit to ongoing improvement and welcome feedback that helps us do better.
